Customisable replies
One of the standout features of this Telegram update is the ability to quote specific parts of a message, allowing for more precise responses. To utilise this feature, simply tap and hold (or drag on iOS) the intended text, and choose the ‘Quote’ option.
Moreover, users can now format their quotes, making it possible to bold or italicise messages or parts of messages being quoted.
Cross-chat replies
Enhancing communication further, Telegram now lets you reply to a message from one chat in another. Whether it's in private direct messages or within various group chats or channels, this function streamlines your conversations. Select the message you want to respond to, choose ‘Reply in Another Chat,’ and pick the relevant chat. Those who have access can easily open the message in its original chat by tapping the reply.
Tailored link previews
You can now modify the thumbnail image size, decide whether the preview appears above or below your message, and select which link to preview if you've attached multiple links in a message. Links can be opened by tapping anywhere in the preview section, putting you in control of your shared content.
Revamped telegram stories
Telegram stories have received a minor facelift with the latest update. Users can now fast-forward and rewind video stories by holding down on the screen and sliding right or left, providing a smoother viewing experience.
Additionally, a front flash feature allows you to adjust its warmth and intensity when capturing photos or videos from the Stories segment.
Personalised account colours
For Telegram premium users, a standout feature is the ability to customise the colour or combination of colours for their account. This unique feature is accessible to Level 5 channels or higher. Your name in groups, the colour of shared links, and replies to your messages can all be displayed in the colour or combination of your choosing.
From precise replies to customised link previews and personalised account colours, this update reflects Telegram's commitment to improving the user experience.
