The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has launched an advanced certification programme based on Web 3.0, social Media, and Metaverse. Participants will gain valuable insights into the transformative impact of web3 on the internet, the empowering role of social media, and the immersive experiences being created in the emerging Metaverse.
The course takes a practical approach, utilising real-world projects and case studies that make use of tools like WordPress, Google Analytics, PHP, and Orange. Additionally, the creation of an e-commerce website will be covered, as well as how to use digital marketing tools and integrate it with social media analytics.
Who can apply for the course?
The advanced certification programme is open to graduates from any field who are interested in pursuing careers in the domains of Web 3.0, social Media, and the Metaverse. Additionally, professionals working in the software and IT industries can also benefit from the programme by gaining expertise web3 or Metaverse technologies to apply in their respective fields.
The Web 3.0 module covers topics like web analytics and machine learning for e-commerce sales and revenue management, digital influencer management for social media, an overview of artificial intelligence for web3, case studies on Metaverse applications in different industries, and understanding the technical architecture of VR ecosystems.
More about the programme
The students will receive coaching from IIT Delhi professors for 100 hours of curricular activities. Including a campus immersion component, the live courses will be delivered Direct-to-Device (D2D) over the course of six months. Classes will be held on alternate weekends, either on Saturdays or Sundays, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with breaks in between, starting from 29 October, 2023

By exploring these cutting-edge technologies, individuals can gain valuable insights into their potential to transform interactions and create transformative digital experiences.
