What is this startup for?

The information from the company revealed that this blockchain startup is focused on developing tools that emphasises on 'autonomous agents, network infrastructure, and decentralised machine learning.' The idea behind the investment is to enable communication and action between AI applications, thus making the overall process more actionable.

In an interview with media, CEO of Fetch.ai, Humayun Sheikh stated that the company has a special part to play in the development of learning models, offering a more verifiable and equitable approach to AI through distributed ledgers enabling companies to feed data into such models.

Fetch.ai eyes big on generative AI plans

One example is a previous parking experiment that Fetch.ai worked on in 2020. It utilised AI to help locate free places in city parking lots, as well as to modify pricing and give customers free public transportation tickets when they choose not to drive at all.

The startup further intends to develop services that will convert outcomes from generative AI-powered applications into transactions. For instance, in the future, requesting the best flights from London to Istanbul from a chatbot might give users results that are ordered and tailored to their preferences for travel rather than just a list of flights and costs.

According to Andrei Grachev, managing partner of DWF Labs, a global leading digital asset market maker and investment firm, "Fetch.ai's platform offers a full solution for designing and deploying peer-to-peer apps with automation and AI capabilities." He continued to say, "We're excited to assist their growth and development since their technical architecture and decentralised approach to machine learning establish a new paradigm for developers and entrepreneurs."
