Expectations from the event
This event might show the two companies, Microsoft and Meta, working together, as last year's Meta Connect event saw their collaboration on Microsoft’s office programs such as Excel and Word optimised for the Quest hardware platform.
Meta has been consistently working hard to pursue its augmented reality (AR) dreams, however, it is not expected to talk about its Metaverse and AR technologies at the event.
AR glasses are also expected to be on Meta’s list, but as per speculation, it is possible that specs and features may differ. Also, Xbox gaming is expected to leverage Meta’s virtual reality tech, but this is also just speculation and nothing has been confirmed by either tech giants.
