In a groundbreaking move aimed at fostering digital literacy and unleashing creativity among India's K–12 students, Adobe, the renowned American multinational software company, has entered into a strategic partnership with India's Ministry of Education.
Under this collaboration, Adobe will introduce Adobe Express-based curriculum, training, and certification programmes in schools across the country. The initiative, expected to make a significant impact, targets an impressive 20 million students and 500,000 educators by the year 2027.
A milestone partnership ahead of the G20 Leaders' Summit
This landmark partnership was officially announced ahead of the G20 Leaders' Summit hosted by India. The initiative seeks to transform classrooms into hubs of creative expression using Adobe Express, marking a significant step forward in the era of digitisation.

Adobe's vision for the next generation
Adobe envisions that this partnership will nurture collaboration, communication, and creative skills within the classroom environment. Adobe Express, being an AI-first, all-in-one content creation app, is positioned to prepare students for success in both their educational journey and future careers, endowing them with a competitive edge.
Under this partners, Adobe will provide free access to Adobe Express Premium to K–12 schools across India. Additionally, professional development opportunities will be extended to educators, offering them the necessary training to effectively incorporate Adobe Express tools and capabilities into their teaching methodologies. The curriculum will cover various aspects of creativity, generative AI, design, animation, video production, and other emerging technologies.
Empowering students
With the help of Adobe Express, 20 million students in K–12 institutions all throughout India will be able to produce a variety of material, including posters, animated films, web pages, PDFs, and more.
At the same time, 500,000 instructors working in schools and colleges will receive updated training on how to use Adobe Express to create digital learning resources, helping students develop their creative abilities. Teachers will be awarded the esteemed Adobe Creative Educator credential once they have finished their programme.

With groundbreaking generative AI in Adobe Express, we aim to empower India's classrooms, revolutionising how creativity is used by students and educators to bring ideas to life."
In 2022, Adobe had previously joined forces with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to empower 75,000 faculty members across 10,000 higher education institutes with access to Adobe Express.
This significant partnership between Adobe and the Ministry of Education holds the promise of nurturing India's creative minds and equipping them with the digital skills needed for success in the 21st century.
