Crypto prices today 11 July 2023: Bitcoin & Ethereum increase, overall market remains in the green

Most of the top cryptocurrencies remained in the green today. Bitcoin, the largest cryptocurrency in the world, advanced by 1.09 percent to trade at $30,455.27. At the time of writing this article (1000 IST), its nearest rival, Ethereum, also increased by 0.85 percent to stand at $1,878.02. 

The price of top tokens witnessed growth at this time, XRP went up by 1.86 percent, Cardano extended by 1.45 percent, Solana advanced by 3.21 percent and Litecoin marked gains by 3.40 percent. At this time, other tokens like, Polkadot, Polygon and Avalanche also rose by 1.59 percent, 8.08 percent, and 2.31 percent, respectively. 

The global cryptocurrency market cap gained by 1.24 percent to $1.19 trillion, followed by a growth registered in the total crypto market volume by 45.78 percent to $32.26 billion. 

Gainers and decliners

Today's top gainers include Mina, Polygon, Fantom and Kava. Contrastingly, coins like Maker, XDC Network, Aave, and eCash were among the top losers. 

Memecoins notice gains 

Popular memecoins improved in their prices over the last 24 hours. The price of Floki increased by 2.67 percent, Elon Musk-backed Dogecoin grew by 0.68 percent, and Pepe rose by 2.55 percent. The surge in prices continued in other tokens like Dogelon Mars and Baby Doge Coin by 1.93 percent and 0.60 percent, respectively

Metaverse tokens advanced

Most of the Metaverse tokens noticed growth in their prices. Internet Computer went up by 1.67 percent, and Stacks grew by 2.65 percent. Other tokens like The Sandbox, Theta Network and Decentraland registered gains by 3.30 percent, 3.45 percent and 3.07 percent, respectively.
