The power of street art and bitcoin
Street art provides a different way to avoid the usual media, which is often controlled by powerful groups. Street Cyber believes that combining street art and Bitcoin is a powerful way to show disagreement with the government and its money systems peacefully.
It gives people the option to step away from regular money systems controlled by the government. Some art has political messages, while others are just fun and include crypto-themed paintings and stickers, even with famous cartoon characters.
Spreading awareness
Street Cyber maintains a verified presence on X (erstwhile Twitter) with over three thousand followers. They use this platform to showcase their crypto-themed artworks and promote awareness about Bitcoin.

EU's crypto-friendly initiatives
The artistic crypto awareness effort matches the EU’s bigger goal of becoming a centre for the Web3 industry. They passed the MiCA rules earlier this year, which they plan to force completely by the end of 2024.
These rules mainly aim to keep people safe and stop cheating and bad activities in the crypto world, such as sharing secret information, insider trading, and messaging with crypto markets.
Growing crypto user base
The timing of this creative campaign to raise awareness of cryptocurrencies matches the rapid increase in cryptocurrency users in Europe. The region saw 98.5 million crypto users in 2018, a significant rise from the 71.5 million users in the year before. The cryptocurrency market in Europe is still growing as regulations are clarified and awareness increases.
