Crypto prices today 27 Sep 2023: Bitcoin decreases by 0.35%, Ethereum up by 0.04%

On Wednesday, Bitcoin dipped by 0.35 percent to $26240.52 since the past day. At the time of writing this article (1030 IST), its nearest rival, Ethereum, went up by 0.04 percent to $1592.02.
As the market witnessed a decline, the prices of top tokens like Solana and Polkadot went down by 2.44 percent and 1.26 percent, respectively. The value of Polygon also decreased by 2.45 percent.
The overall global crypto market cap also witnessed a decline of 0.28 percent, reaching $1.05 trillion. On the other hand, the total trading volume decreased by 13.87 percent to reach $19.59 billion.
Gainers and decliners
Today's top gainers include Maker, Optimism and Injective. Contrastingly, coins like Aptos, UNUS SED LEO and Immutable were among the top losers.
Memecoins slips
Popular memecoins were in the red. Elon Musk-backed Dogecoin fell by 0.62 percent to $0.06064. Other memecoins like Shiba Inu decreased by 0.97 percent and Pepe declined by 1.68 percent.
Metaverse tokens trade mix
Most of the Metaverse tokens were trading mix today. The Sandbox increased by 0.59 percent, and Internet Computer dipped by 0.21 percent. The values of Decentraland and Stacks also recorded a slip amid the market fluctuations.
