Uniswap

Uniswap was one of the first decentralised finance (DeFi) applications running on the Ethereum blockchain. Launched in 2018, the said platform allows users to swap and trade ERC-20 tokens. It is compatible with wallet services like MetaMask and MyEtherWallet.

It is completely open source, meaning anyone can access the platform by simply connecting a crypto wallet. As per its official website, the platform boasts a trading volume of over $1.4 trillion with more than 300 integrations.

Aave

Another popular DApp is Aave, which is an open-sourced liquidity protocol, that offers users complete transparency. Originally built atop the Ethereum network, Aave has expanded to other chains, like Avalanche, Fantom, and Harmony.

It also has a native crypto token, known as AAVE and the platform uses a decentralised autonomous organisation (DAO), which is operated and governed by the people who hold and vote with its in-house currency.

OpenSea

OpenSea is one of the leading NFT trading marketplaces, which was introduced in 2017. Initially, the platform was created on the Ethereum network but was integrated into the Polygon blockchain later.

It has several NFT categories, including art, collectibles, music, sports, photography, real-estate, in-game possessions, and heaps more.

Audius

Next comes Audius which is a unique DApps, catering to the entertainment sector using blockchain technology. It offers a steaming platform created for musicians. Moreover, it allows creators to mint NFTs of their music and make them immutable tokens on the blockchain.
