Intel unveils 'Articul8', an AI company for enterprise solutions; here's all the details

Intel, the American chip and tech company, in partnership with DigitalBridge Group, has unveiled a groundbreaking independent AI company called ‘Articul8 AI.’ The collaboration aims to introduce a comprehensive generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) software platform specifically designed for enterprise customers.

The newly formed company, pronounced ‘Articulate AI,’ is set to leverage Intel's intellectual property and technology, alongside contributions from other entities, to drive the adoption of generative AI in the corporate world.

Key features of Articul8

The capabilities of Articul8 include impressive features such as search latency of less than 100 milliseconds, unlimited token usage, and support for over 1000 concurrent users.

The company will offer ready-to-consume APIs, simplifying the deployment of generative AI applications. Articul8 will support technologies like ModelMesh, FlexLLM, and LLM-IQ.Furthermore, the platform boasts flexibility in infrastructure, enabling the deployment of generative AI services using existing infrastructure.

Leadership & vision

Intel has appointed Arun Subramaniyan as the CEO of Articul8, bringing in a wealth of experience from his previous role as the president and general manager of Intel’s Data Center and AI Group.

Expressing optimism about the collaboration, Pat Gelsinger, Intel's CEO, highlighted Articul8's potential to deliver tangible business outcomes, stating, “With its deep AI and HPC domain knowledge and enterprise-grade GenAI deployments, Articul8 is well positioned to deliver tangible business outcomes for Intel and our broader ecosystem of customers and partners. Notably, these services will not be bound to a specific cloud or hardware, and Articul8 will also provide dedicated enterprise support.
