Under the leadership of Prof. Shreepad Karmalkar, who serves as the Chairman of the AHRC Board, the centre has already embarked on developing AI tools with a primary focus on the diagnosis of various diseases. Collaborating with experts from AIIMS Bhubaneswar and the State University of New York in the United States, AHRC scientists are actively engaged in creating AI-based solutions for the swift screening of life-threatening diseases, especially in rural communities of Odisha.
