Amazon, the e-commerce giant, plans to include generative AI in its search engine and a new robot that can assist you in any crime that is being committed.

Amazon intends to include a ChatGPT-like bot into its online store in addition to creating a home robot that can see, recall, and communicate with you.
Due to the wide range of useful applications presented by the technology, generative AI has caught the interest of major technological companies since ChatGPT's launch. Following the announcement of AI-powered search engines by Google and Microsoft, Amazon is now attempting to integrate the AI technology into the search function of its online store.
According to information obtained by Bloomberg, a recent job advertisement by Amazon made note of a ChatGPT-like search experience. An advertisement for the job of a Sr. Applied Scientist states, "We are reimagining Amazon Search with an interactive conversational experience that helps you find answers to product questions, perform product comparisons, receive personalised product suggestions, and so much more, to easily find the perfect product for your needs.
Amazon claims that this will be a once-in-a-generation change for search, "just like the Mosaic browser." Another entry described "a new AI-first initiative to re-architect and reinvent the way we search through the use of extremely large-scale next-generation deep learning techniques."
Robot at home that uses creative AI
Amazon internal documents confirmed that the company may be considering using generative AI in robots in addition to search. Burnham, an unidentified new AI project, is creating an upgraded Astro home robot with "intelligence and a conversational spoken interface."
Furthermore, the document stated that the robot can assist in any crime that is taking place (including robberies and fights) and in any kind of fire or car accident, particularly if someone suffers injury, and contact 911 if necessary.
"Alexa is being improved by Amazon to be more intelligent and conversational. The company is in the midst of a generative AI boom. One method it plans to use to achieve this goal is a new iteration of its own huge language model, known as the ‘Alexa Teacher Model.’ Alexa is already driven by Amazon's LLM, one of the large language models that drive generative AI."
