BMW CE 02: Specifications & more

The VR platform and virtual reality environment known as ‘MetaRide’ allow customers to interact directly with the BMW Motorrad brand. On the other hand, BMW CE 02, a new concept electric scooter, intended for users 16 years of age and older, is powered by an electric motor with two power outputs: a 5 hp (horsepower) version that can travel no faster than 45 kph (28 mph), and a more potent one that can produce up to 15 hp. This one has a peak speed of 95 kph (59 mph), which is twice as fast.

Alighting MetaRide

Recently, ‘MetaRide’ made its debut with the introduction of the BMW CE 02 electric scooter. According to a press release from BMW, this vehicle "is neither an e-motorcycle nor an e-scooter; rather, it is an eParkourer."

MetaRide's core concept is to provide users with the opportunity to simulate riding a motorcycle. Users of MetaRide can examine motorcycles in 3D and even take them for virtual test rides. Currently, just the CE 02 is available, but there are plans to extend the service, according to BMW.

BMW Motorrad MetaRide can be accessed via the Spatial Metaverse platform, and there users can also play basketball, collect tokens, or earn a stylish jacket for their own avatar.

With the help of its official website, BMW Motorrad offers this Metaverse experience, which is compatible with a wide range of browsers, laptops, and PCs. Through this immersive experience, aficionados can take pleasure in riding this cutting-edge electric motorcycle from the comfort of their own homes.

BMW Motorrad is genuinely setting new standards by embracing the Metaverse. The introduction of MetaRide underlines BMW Motorrad's dedication to pushing the limits of innovation. The arrival of the motorcycle in the MetaRide is just the beginning, as the company intends to apply the same strategy to several additional vehicle models that it anticipates releasing soon.
