The first-ever Global Robotics Summit in India will be held in Hyderabad in collaboration with the Telangana government and the All India Robotics Association (AIRA).

The event which is scheduled from 21 July to 22 July this year, will be held at Hyderbad’s HICC complex, Novotel. It will be attended by investors, scientists, and other ecosystem players from over 25 countries.

A sneak-peak into the latest developments in robotics

The two-day conference will focus on the most recent developments in robotics and artificial intelligence. In fact, the motive of this conference is to create a platform for researchers, industry pioneers, as well as enthusiasts to exchange their creative ideas and knowledge on the future work of robotics. Also, as a part of the summit, discussions, live sessions, and demonstrations of advanced technologies will be held.

Moreover, the conference will also display workshops covering a variety of topics, such as industrial automation and healthcare robotics, among others. Additionally, different businesses along with research institutions will conduct exhibitions of diverse robots and AI systems.

The Chairman of AIRA, Kisshan PSV, expressed his joy at hosting India's first-ever Global Robotics Summit. He states, “We are going to organise events around robotics for a year after the summit. It will provide a platform to ecosystem players to discuss a roadmap for the development of robotics.” He further added, “We will set up a Centre for Advanced Robotics and Automation in Telangana to promote development of cutting-edge robotics technologies for healthcare, agriculture, space, and defence applications.”

Interestingly, from July 2023, Hyderabad will see an influx in global investment announcements in the field of robotics and automation. Also, the summit will continue with several events in different countries till July 2024, state officials.
