Infosys, the Indian IT giant, recently announced the introduction of a free Artificial Intelligence (AI) certification training programme on its virtual learning platform, known as Infosys Springboard, with the goal of empowering students by giving them future-proof skill sets.
Infosys Springboard, a flexible learning platform for AI
Infosys Springboard is the online platform where a curriculum-rich learning experience is provided. The platform is available on any device, providing learners with flexibility and convenience.
According to Thirumala Arohi, Senior Vice President and Head of Education, Training, and Assessment at Infosys said that, "Infosys Springboard is dedicated to democratising high-quality education and empowering the next generation of workers with digital and soft skills. Our goal is to simplify AI for learners and assist them in making an informed decision when establishing their careers."

Infosys’ AI-first specialists and data strategists, who are in charge of delivering the Infosys TopazTM, an AI-first suite of services, solutions, and platforms, will assist in constructing the curriculum in order to help learners develop future-ready skill sets.
The certification programme will include a variety of courses that address various aspects of AI. A deep learning and natural language processing-focused beginning course on AI and generative AI will be one of the courses offered. Additionally, prompt engineering and AI-first software engineering will be covered in a masterclass on AI and the effects of generative AI.
Further, a specialised course dubbed ‘Citizens Data Science’ will also teach important aspects of the data science field, such as Python programming, linear algebra, probability and statistics, and exploratory data analysis.
