Infosys, a leading provider of next-generation digital services and consulting, along with the International Tennis Hall of Fame (ITHF), have announced foraying into the immersive world of Metaverse by launching a dynamic Metaverse museum, thus, bringing the ITHF experience to tennis fans across the globe.
The said move aims to offer the museum’s collection and the stories of its Hall of Famers into the Metaverse.
Here, it must be mentioned that the ITHF Metaverse is available at tennisfame.com/metaverse. However, a virtual reality experience is presently in the development stage.
What to expect in the ITHF’s world?
Here, fans can view larger-than-life holographic statues of Hall of Famers and know about the tennis greats through stats, trivia, etc. It must be noted that Martina Navratilova, Arthur Ashe, Billie Jean King, Rod Laver, etc., have been featured among the Hall of Famers.
Moreover, here fans can find iconic items from tennis history, including a racquet used by Stefanie Graf during her Golden Slam in 1988, a dress worn by Serena Williams at the 2018 US Open, and an original pair of Stan Smith Adidas sneakers.
