Introducing 'Bharatmeta,' an Indian metaverse platform, showcased at VivaTech in Paris
The AI and emerging technology solutions company, Kiya.ai from India, launched Bharatmeta, their version of the metaverse at the VivaTech conference in Paris.

At the VivaTech conference held in Paris from 14–17 June 2023, Kiya.ai introduced ‘Bharatmeta’ , their first ever metaverse platform. The presentation was held in the India Pavilion during VivaTech, the biggest annual technology and startup event in Europe.
The revolutionary contribution of Kiya.ai
Kiya.ai is an AI-based omnichannel and open finance company with a worldwide presence spanning 12 locations and supporting more than 550 businesses in 56 countries, including Southeast Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and North America.
According to the reports, Rajesh Mirjankar, the managing director and CEO of Kiya.ai, stated that, while other global platforms mostly focus on games and virtual products, Bharatmeta employs a unique strategy by facilitating the commerce of both real and virtual commodities.
Mirjankar further emphasised that Bharatmeta provides real-world use cases for cooperation, culture, banking, and business within the metaverse. Bharatmeta aims to eliminate the divide between the real world and the digital one by utilising India's strong digital infrastructure, which includes digital payments, open commerce, and identification systems.
Celebration of Indian identity
In an amazing act of nationalism, Kiya.ai celebrated the ‘Azadi Kaa Amrit Mahotsav’ by digitally building the Indian flag, known as the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga,’ within the Bharatmeta metaverse.This virtual experience allows guests to experience the Indian flag being hoisted atop a virtual monument.

Bharatmeta is intended to be inclusive and accessible, serving users across a variety of services including XR headsets, PCs, mobile phones, and kiosks.
