Crypto prices today: Top cryptocurrencies record gains, Bitcoin up by 0.25%

On Friday, most of the cryptocurrencies remained profitable after recording a persistent fall in their prices. Bitcoin, the world's first and largest crypto, stood at $26,441.07, marking an increase of 0.25 percent over the last 24 hours. At the same time, Ethereum gained by 0.06 percent to stand at $1,838.17.
At this time, the global crypto market cap stood at $1.1 trillion, marking an increase of 0.24 percent over the last day, in contrary to the decrease registered in the total crypto volume of 31.13 percent to 26.08 billion.
Other popular cryptos also recorded gains, while some still struggling with negative price fluctuations. XRP was up by 0.91 percent, Solana advanced by 1.36 percent, Polygon increased by 3.36 percent. On the contrary, Polkadot, Avalanche, Litecoin and Cosmos decreased by 0.14 percent, 0.82 percent, 1.03 percent and 0.70 percent, respectively at the time of writing (0930 IST).
Top gainers and losers
Mina, Immutable, Injective and Terra Classic were among the top gainers. On the other hand, Sui, Lido DAO, Stacks and Frax Share were among the top losers.
Meme coins traded in the green
Today, meme coins remained in the green. Elon Musk-backed Dogecoin is trading at $0.0678, with an increase of 0.39 percent, followed by Shiba Inu’s current price at $0.000007935, recording gains of 0.30 percent. Other meme coins like Pepe and Bone ShibaSwap increased by 1.31 percent and 1.72 percent, respectively. At this time, the value of Dogelon Mars rose by 0.78 percent to $0.0000001879.
Metaverse coins recorded fluctuations
A majority of the metaverse tokens recorded fluctuations. The value of Internet Computer declined by 0.37 percent, along with a decrease marked in the prices of The Sandbox and Stacks by 1.27 percent and 2.20 percent, respectively. On the other hand, Ape Coin, Render Token and Decentraland registered profits in their prices.
