Highlights
- Cloudera and AWS have entered into a strategic collaboration agreement
- The aim of the agreement is to expedite and expand cloud-native data management and data analytics on the AWS platform
Cloudera has entered into a strategic collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to advance dependable enterprise generative AI solutions. This partnership aims to expedite the expansion and enhancement of cloud-native data management and analytics services on the AWS platform.
"Through this agreement, Cloudera will leverage AWS services to deliver continuous innovation and lower costs to customers with Cloudera open data lake house on AWS for trusted enterprise generative AI," said Cloudera.
Customer speedy migration to CDP
Cloudera has chosen AWS to host the critical components of the Cloudera Data Platform (CDP), which include data in motion, data lake house, data warehousing, operational databases, AI/machine learning, master data management, and end-to-end security.
This can facilitate customers' speedy migration to CDP in the cloud without requiring them to redesign their apps, and it also supports hybrid deployments.
Furthermore, Cloudera has designed CDP to seamlessly integrate with AWS services such as Amazon S3, Amazon EKS, Amazon RDS, and Amazon EC2. This integration creates a closely connected platform that cuts costs and harnesses AWS's latest innovations for customers.
"With tighter hardware and AWS service integration, customers get the best possible experience with strong security and governance, along with new cost reduction options to support their most critical analytical workloads."
Companies co-selling programme
Cloudera & AWS join hands to expand cloud-native data management and analytics capabilities on AWS. Both the companies also collaborate for joint marketing and co-selling initiatives to benefit customers.
Chris Grusz, General Manager of Technology Partnerships and Marketplace at AWS, mentioned that Cloudera has deepened its collaboration with AWS. This benefits mutual customers by leveraging their CDP investments for faster cloud modernisation.
