The next major iOS 17 update is about to drop any day! in fact, a few days back, Apple released iOS 17.2 Beta 4 to developers. So here's what you'll get in iOS 17.2 update.
A new 'Default Alerts' section in Sounds & Haptics allows users to choose the sound for all incoming notifications, excluding texts, mail alerts, and calendar alerts.
Last year, the iOS 16.2 update was released on 16 December, 2022, and it is likely to be released this year around the middle of December 2023.
– Code in iOS 17.2 hints at Apple's plan to eliminate the option to purchase TV shows within the iTunes app. – The future shift involves making such purchases exclusively through the TV app.
While introduced in an earlier version of iOS 17.2, the collaborative Apple Music playlist feature has been removed in the fourth beta.
– The 'Coverage' section under Settings > General is now named 'AppleCare & Warranty.'
– iPhone 15 Pro models now support recording ProRes video directly to an external device. – iOS 17.2 includes a pop-up message alerting users if external recording isn't functioning due to a slow USB-C cable.
