Secure Your Aadhaar: Steps to Verify & Monitor Linked Mobile Numbers

Department of Telecommunication's Telecom Analytics for Fraud Management and Consumer Protection portal lets you check Aadhaar-linked mobile numbers, with a limit of nine registrations per user. It addresses rising fraud concerns and combats Aadhaar misuse during SIM card purchases.

1. Visit the website https://tafcop.dgtelecom.gov.in/ 2. Scroll down the Website 3. Under ‘Citizen Centric Services', select 'Know Your Mobile Connections' option.

4. Request an OTP by entering your mobile number & CAPTCHA. 5. Submit the OTP, which you will receive on your mobile number 6.The mobile numbers registered on your Aadhaar card will be displayed

Scammers are known to use Aadhaar card details of people to buy phone numbers for malicious activities

This facility is applicable to a few states for now but its soon going to be applicable to all. However, this can protect you from knowing that your Aadhaar card is not being misused by fraudsters.
