Apple has released the iOS 17.2 Beta for all those who had enrolled in the company’s developer programme. While the new update is anticipated to be packing some great features, they will be rolled out in the final version of the update. Here’s a quick glimpse of what the new iOS 17.2 update offers.
iOS 17.2 beta 1 introduces the Journal app, which was first previewed by Apple in June. This app allows users to privately compile and reflect on their daily activities by gathering data from various apps used throughout the day.

Upgrades to Messages
In iOS 17.2 beta, the Action button can initiate translation sessions, expanding its previous functions limited to Silent Mode, Focus, Camera, Flashlight, Voice Memo, Shortcut, and Accessibility.
Action Button Tweaks
INew widgets for Weather and Clock apps have been added. These include a widget for sunrise/sunset times and a compact one for upcoming weather conditions.
New Widgets
In iOS 17.2 beta, you can choose a rainbow text color for your name when crafting a Contact Poster, whether creating a new one or modifying an existing poster.
