OnePlus is all set to unveil its first foldable smartphone — OnePlus Open, at a launch event held in Mumbai. The event kickstarts at 7:30 PM and will be live-streamed on the company’s official YouTube channel.
As per leaks, OnePlus Open is based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The phone carries up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage.
There are rumors that the smartphone will feature a 48MP main camera, a 48MP ultra-wide camera, and a 64MP telephoto camera, all powered by Hasselblad technology.
The OnePlus Open is expected to be equipped with a 100W charger offering 67W fast charging, while wireless charging may not be included as an option.
The smartphone is expected to launch in at least two colour variants, i.e., black and green and is also likely to boast some sort of ingress protection for water resistance.
Report suggest that OnePlus may set the price of the OnePlus Open at $1,699, which is approximately Rs 1,41,405, positioning it as a slightly more affordable option, compared to the recently released Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5.
