Chandrayaan 3's highly anticipated moon landing is scheduled for Wednesday evening. Its importance is amplified following Russia's Luna-25 mission failure, drawing viewers from across India and beyond on 23 August.
The live telecast of the landing operations will begin at 5:20 pm (IST) on Wednesday. Live actions of landing will be available from 5:27 pm (IST) on 23 August.
The live telecast can be viewed on the Doordarshan TV channel, the ISRO website, ISRO official YouTube channel, ISRO official Facebook channel as well as numerous other TV channels & social media platforms.
Should all go as planned, India will become the fourth nation to soft-land on the moon, joining the US, Russia & China. Remarkably, India will be the first country to ever land on the lunar south pole.
