Float Over Turkey with Uber's Hot-Air Balloon Ride

Cappadocia, a famous place in Turkey known for its unique landscapes and historic sites, is a top tourist spot. It welcomed about 10 percent of Turkey's 44.6 million foreign visitors in 2022, according to the Turkish tourism ministry.

Uber now lets you ride hot air balloons in Turkey's Cappadocia area, expanding beyond just rides. International trips to Turkey grew by over 30 percent in 2023, and almost 26 million people used the app this year, as Uber announced in a statement.

The hot air balloon service is open from now until 19 November 2023. To book, use Uber Reserve, and you need to plan 12 hours ahead. It costs 150 euros, i.e. roughly $159. This covers a 1.5-hour sunrise balloon ride over Cappadocia's stunning volcanic landscapes.
