Need to Find a Friend? Here's How to Share Your Location on WhatsApp

Share your mobile device's location with a friend on WhatsApp. You can send a one-time location pin or share your live location for up to eight hours, and you have the option to stop sharing at any time.

For iPhone users, follow these steps 1. Open the WhatsApp app. 2. Select any chat from your chat list with whom you want to share location. 3.Tap the plus sign (+) on the menu. 4. Tap location. 5. Choose any two options live or current location.

For Android phones, follow these steps 1. Open the WhatsApp app on your phone. 2. Select a conversation from your chat lists. 3. Tap on the paperclip icon. 4. Select location 5. Choose any two options live or current location.

There will be two options current and live location 1. 'Current Location' for a one-time pin on a map, shareable with directions. 2. 'Live Location' for updates, choose duration, stop by tapping 'Stop Sharing' in the chat.

If it's your first time sharing your location, you might need to grant location permissions Choose from options: - 'Only while using the app.' - 'Ask every time.' - For extended sharing, pick 'All the time.'
