You may not even be aware of how many minutes or even hours you spend scrolling through social media apps. Not only does this affect your productivity, but it also uses a ton of data. Since Instagram relies heavily on video, you’re consuming data for every single video you watch. Let’s see how you can scroll while saving data.
- Open Instagram and click your profile picture. - Tap the three horizontal lines in the top right corner. - Select Settings and Privacy
– Scroll down to Your App and Media – Click on Data Usage and Media Quality – Turn on the toggle to enable the Data Saver mode
Instagram has a mode called Data Saver that takes care of when you're using your phone's data. Normally, the app loads videos right away after you click on them, but when you enable Data Saver, the videos won't be loaded until you're on Wi-Fi.
