Backing up your iPhone is always a good idea. Whether you are buying the latest iPhone 15 or just upgrading to the new iOS 17, or simply preparing for the eventuality of an iPhone loss or theft, taking a few moments to secure your essential photos, videos, and text messages can help to avoid any future inconvenience.

1. Connect your iPhone to Wi-Fi and then go to Settings. 2. Click on the Apple ID/iCloud tab at the top, which also might have your name. 3. If you are not signed in, take time to sign in first 4. How to Backup iPhone data to iCloud

To know the iCloud storage required for a backup file: - Go to Settings – Go to Apple ID> iCloud > iCloud Backup > Back Up Now. – A list of devices backing up or attempting to back up with the account will be displayed.

How to Know iCloud Backup Size?

Under the Backup option, you’ll see a list of apps with a toggle to back up data. This will also show the data each app needs to back up, going from the largest to the smallest. If you only need a small backup file, don’t bother unchecking larger data entries from the list, even if you don’t care if they’re backed up.
