Google unveiled Android 14 at the Made by Google event, along with the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. Android 14 is now rolling out to supported devices.
- High-quality Ultra HDR images - Improved low-light photography - In-sensor zooming in third-party apps - Document scanner for digitising receipts
- Larger fonts (up to 200%) - Camera flash notifications for the hearing impaired - Pinch-to-zoom magnification - Customisation options for hearing aids
Customizable clocks and lock screen shortcuts
- Data-sharing notifications for third-party apps - Stricter app permissions - Enhanced PIN privacy - Option to disable 2G connectivity - Encryption for all cellular connections
Android 14 is not supported on all Android phones. - It's available primarily on Google's Pixel series.
Pure Android 14 is supported on select Google Pixel devices: - Pixel 4A - Pixel 5 - Pixel 5A - Pixel 6 - Pixel 6 Pro - Pixel 6A - Pixel 7 - Pixel 7 Pro - Pixel 7A - Pixel 8 - Pixel 8 Pro - Pixel Fold - Pixel Tablet
