Who was Alan Turing?

He was one of the most significant characters in British history. Turing created the computer in 1936 as part of his effort to solve a difficult dilemma known as the Entscheidungsproblem.

Why was he so special?

He invented the Imitation Game, which eventually became known as the Turing Test. It's a test designed to determine whether a machine can deceive humans which is not called AI, and from then he is commonly known as 'The Father of AI.'

Why is he known as ' The Father of AI'?

Due to his sexual orientation, Turing was accused of crimes & faced allegations of gross indecency because of the anti-homosexuality legislation in the UK.

What was Alan Turing accused of?

On 8 June 1954, Turing died of cyanide overdose and his death was declared a suicide. But some people belief that it was a murder.

His death was suicide or murder?

Today, let's commemorate this day by remembering Alan Turing and his contribution in the world of Artificial Intelligence.
