It's AI-generated content mimicking a person's appearance and voice, blending "deep learning" and "fake" concepts to create convincing synthetic media—videos, images, or audio.

What is Deepfake?

You can spot a deepfake by counting how often the person blinks in the video. Deepfakes tend to blink less than real people and may seem forced or unnatural in their blinking patterns.

1. Number of Blinks

To spot deepfakes, look for differences in the face and body. Deepfakes often only change the face, so check if facial features match body movements and expressions.

2.Body & Face

Creating a convincing fake takes a lot of time and algorithm training; making fake videos is typically short, lasting only a few seconds.

3.Length of the Video

Voice-altering software mostly focuses on the face. Be cautious if the video has no sound or if the audio doesn't match the image, especially lip movements.

4. Sound of the Video

Deepfake technology struggles to accurately replicate the tongue, teeth, and mouth during speech. Look for blurriness inside the mouth as a sign of a fake image.
