Celebrating Google's 25th anniversary! From a simple search engine to an AI powerhouse, Google has come a long way. Embracing the future, it's now racing ahead in AI innovations. Let's dive into some incredible AI achievements that have shaped the tech giant's journey.
Google Bard is an experimental AI chatbot that employs NLP & ML to mimic human dialogues. Much like ChatGPT, Bard retrieves data from the internet, enabling it to perform tasks such as coding, solving math problems, aiding in writing, offering answers & summaries.
In March, significant strides were made in Google's journey with two key announcements. The first, Gen App Builder, empowers developers, including those with limited ML expertise, to create generative chat. Secondly, Generative AI support was integrated into Vertex AI, extending their machine learning development platform.
Google Maps creates interactive maps with new ways to explore using AI. Neural Radiance Fields (NeRF), an AI method, is used by the Immersive View feature to provide lifelike 3D simulations of real-world settings. Layers of information such as traffic, weather & how crowded a place are included in this view.
Google Photos launches custom timelines for reliving moments, enhanced by AI-generated titles. This feature enables individuals to preserve their most cherished memories or craft entirely new ones from scratch, fashioning a captivating scrapbook that includes trips, joyous celebrations etc.
It has launched a multimodal language c/d AudioPaLM. It integrates the benefits of two current models, namely the PaLM-2 model, which was unveiled at Google I/O 2023 & the AudioLM model. Here AudioPaLM manage a range of applications, from speech recognition to voice-to-text conversion.
It is an experimental feature in Google Photos that uses AI to help you make complex edits to photos. Magic Editor uses AI to help with subject framing and generating new content to fill in when repositioning a subject.

On 31 August 2023, Google launches Search Generative Experience (SGE), a feature in Google Search that uses generative AI to help users find information. It generates AI-powered summaries on top of search results, so users don't have to sort through links to find the information they need.
